Paris is More Than Just a Romantic City

Just like most of the big cities, Paris is made up of different districts or departments. Each of these arrondissements has its own story to tell, backed up by the charm of the city of lights. This fact only makes the history of Paris more interesting, and complicated. It was towards the end of the 3rd century BC when the Celtic Gaul tribes founded Paris. The city got its name from the settlers who were known as the Parisii.
